Registration
Registration for ESSEM is through application. You can apply by sending us a letter of motivation (one A4 page), your CV (max 2 pages), and an abstract for a poster you would like present. The poster can be about a project you have completed, one you are currently doing, or a project you would like to do in the future. Please ensure that your abstract is no more than 250 words, and include your name, affiliation, your status (UG student, Postgraduate taught student, PhD Student, Post-doc, Faculty).
Timeline
- Application deadline: Applications are being considered on a rolling basis until all places are filled.

Application Submission - Notification: Successful applicants will be notified within two weeks of submission.
- Enrolment: If successful, you must enrol by paying the registration fee within two weeks of being notified of the outcome of your application.
Cancellations & refunds will only be considered in exceptional cases and will be at the discretion of the organisers. No requests for refunds will be considered after 30th June 2026.
