Registration
Registration for ESSEM is through application. You can apply by sending us a letter of motivation (one A4 page), your CV (max 2 pages), and an abstract for a poster you would like present. The poster can be about a project you have completed, one you are currently doing, or a project you would like to do in the future. Please ensure that your abstract is no more than 250 words, and include your name, affiliation, your status (UG student, Postgraduate taught student, PhD Student, Post-doc, Faculty).
Timeline
- Application deadline: 29th March 2026 (after this date applications will be considered while there are still places available).
Please submit your application using the form below.
Application Submission - Notification: Successful applicants will be notified by 5th April, 2026.
- Enrolment: If successful, you must enrol by paying the registration fee by 15th May, 2026.
After this date, we will offer the remaining places to other applicants on a first-paid, first-served basis.
Cancellations & refunds will only be considered in exceptional cases and will be at the discretion of the organisers. No requests for refunds will be considered after 30th June 2026.
